About Joe

Joe draws from his lifetime memories of fishing, loving and being on the sea to create hand-crafted, one at a time, nautical creations in clear coated natural woods. Joe likes to use the natural colors of the wood and wood grain to create his signature sculptures. Many of his pieces include the integration of different species and colors of wood fitted together in a manner that demonstrates his skill in the combination of artistry and craftsmanship.

Lifetime Fisherman

Joe is a lifetime saltwater fisherman and sport fishing boat owner. He is a “life member” of the Manasquan River Marlin & Tuna Club, where he served as a board member and Tournaments Committee chairman for many years. He has donated many of his sculptures to the club’s Catch a Dream Foundation Fund, which are auctioned at MRMTC events to the benefit of the charitable foundation.
